Biography

Yuting Mou obtained his PhD degree from the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE), Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) under the supervision of Professor Anthony Papavasiliou and Professor Philippe Chevalier. Before that, he received his master's degree in Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Professor Minyue Fu and Professor Zhiyun Lin.

He was a researcher of the energy market team at VITO/EnergyVille until August 2021 and joined Southeast University as an Assistant Professor in October 2021. His research interests include demand response, market design, optimization of large-scale systems, stochastic programming, bi-level optimization, and applications of game theory in the energy sector.

The group is demanding in mathematics and programming, and decent journal publications are required for graduation. If you are interested, please send me an email and I will give you two assignments (one in mathematical modelling and one in programming) for evaluation before the interview. Solid students could be recommended to well-known universities / research institutes for PhD / postdoc positions in Europe.
